For people who have done some of this before.
Taught partly online and partly in person, with a cohort: everyone starts on the same day and moves through the programme together.
You build one application across the whole programme: an interface, a service behind it, a database under that, and tests around all three. Saturdays are taught in person in Lagos; the rest is yours to fit around work. You apply for a place, and every intake is capped so the instructor knows everyone's name.
4 outcomes, each one assessed.
Each outcome is judged on the work you hand in, and the result is recorded on your learning record.
Build an interface people can actually use
Including with a keyboard, a screen reader, and on a small screen.
- Build accessible web interfacesCompetent
Stand up a service and keep it running
Configuration, logging, and a deployment that is not your laptop.
- Build and deploy server applicationsCompetent
Design the data the application needs
Tables that hold the real thing, and queries that stay fast as rows arrive.
- Model and query application dataCompetent
Prove it works and find out why when it does not
Tests that would catch the break, and a method for tracing a fault.
- Test and debug what they buildCompetent
Levels run introduced, developing, competent and advanced, on Meridian Institute of Technology's own competency framework.

80%of the required lessons
100%of the required work handed in and approved
70%of the sessions attended
Certificate in Full-Stack Software Engineering
Issued by Meridian Institute of Technology when your assessed work is approved for every skill this programme promises. It lists each one and how it was judged, and anyone you give its code to can check it against the record on Alethris.
